About The Wedding
I love doing weddings in Piedmont Park, and this time of year is always one of the prettiest. Kristina's soft color palette of corals, pinks and oranges by Stylish Stems perfectly complemented the stone walls of Greystone, without being cliche "fall colors." Kevin's pastor since childhood officiated the ceremony, which was lovely and extremely meaningful, on the terrace overlooking the lake and pool. Guests then enjoyed Endive's stations, including Sunday Supper, with a to-die-for butternut squash casserole. The Retreat band rocked the house and kept the crowd dancing until it was time for Kristina and Kevin to depart amidst a cloud of bubbles.
My Favorite Detail
The secort card tree - but not just any tree - this was a five-foot tall creation of manzanita branches with orchids twining through them. The escort cards (handmade by Kristina) were each on a different, coordinating patterned scrapbook paper. Super cute!
My Favorite Moment
First of all, I love the golf cart ride that we do with the bride and groom and the photographer after all of the family photos are done. This time it was extra special, as we rode to the spot where Kevin proposed to Kristina. You could tell they were in their own world - reliving that moment and enjoying the thrill of being newlyweds, as Janet snapped photos.

"We really can't thank you enough for all you did to make our wedding everything we had dreamed of. We would have been lost without your help. You've been amazing! Thank you again!" Kristina and Kevin (bride and groom)
