About The Wedding
Another gorgeous weekend in the park! Abby and Todd were married under the tree on the Magnolia Hall lawn, under Tulip's dramatic display of hanging lanterns and giant moss cones with flowers cascading down. Part of what is fun about the park is that it is, in fact, a public park. So you have lots of onlookers as you're taking pictures, and, as in this case, at the actual ceremony itself! There was a whole crowd watching the ceremony from the other side of the lawn, which Abby thought was so fun. She looked like a princess in her blush colored gown, with a diaphanous skirt of tulle. The photographers took some shots of her sitting on the lawn with her skirt all around her - the quintessential bride! At dinner, the goat cheese mashed potatoes were a highlight, and guests had fun with the polaroid photo station, where they wrote a note to Abby and Todd on a chalkboard and then hung their pictures on ribbons attached to two birch branches.
My Favorite Detail
Sometimes it's the little things. Abby was very opposed to the white sandwich board signs the park usually puts out, so Tulip provided a chalkboard sandwich sign to direct guests in to the Magnolia Hall terrace. Abby felt strongly that she wanted guests to get a feel for the wedding decor the minute they arrived.
My Favorite Moment
The group photo of Abby and the girls in the personalized sunglasses she got them as bridesmaids' gifts. The highlight? The flower girl (age 5) posing and pouting in Abby's alternate pair. She had us all laughing out loud!

Comments From The Couple
"I cannot thank you enough for all of your help through the wedding planning process - we honestly couldn't have done it without you!! For my friends who are newly engaged, the one thing I tell them is a must-have is a wedding coordinator - the best investment we made!!" ~ Abby (bride)
