Everything was so much better than I even imagined!

About The Wedding
Shannon and Casey wanted a simple wedding, honoring their faith and families; both of which are extremely important to them. Shannon works at Perimeter Church, where the ceremony was held, so the pastor had a personal connection to them and was able to make the ceremony both beautiful and meaningful. In addition to the parents and many grandparents (including Shannon's great-grandmother!), their siblings and nieces and nephews all walked into the church in the processional. I could especially see the love of family coming through during the reception, where several times both Shannon and Casey made a point to sit down and visit with their parents and siblings, or just stop to give a quick hug or kiss. Roswell Mill Club offered the perfect fall setting, with the leaves in all their glory and the river below. Guests enjoyed the buffet dinner, and danced the night away as DJ JJ spun tunes. Shannon and Casey departed under a shower of (biodegradable) confetti.

My Favorite Detail
Shannon surprised Casey with a night-sky-themed groom's cake, complete with a replica of his favorite telescope - made out of Rice Krispies!

My Favorite Moment
Getting the bow on Shannon's sash perfectly tied - third time was the charm!

Comments From The Couple
"Hiring Daria was the BEST wedding planning decision my husband and I made. We could not possibly have been happier with the results, and it was all thanks to her attention to detail and thoughtfulness. She was always quick to respond and answer the phone, and helped us make big, potentially difficult decisions by offering her advice over a conference call so that my out of town family could be on the same page. On the day of, she intercepted vendors so that she could deal with their inquiries personally. I didn't have to worry about a thing, and I just enjoyed the day with my new husband. She also has a way of going the extra mile and making it seem totally effortless, it definitely added to my sense of calm on the big day." ~ Shannon (bride)
