About The Wedding
Classic and classy are the two words I would use to describe what Sandy wanted for her and Chris's wedding. After working together for a year, it was a joy to see Sandy's vision come to life! After some pre-ceremony photos at Callanwolde on a perfect Atlanta spring day (70 and sunny), Sandy and Chris exchanged vows in the historic Decatur First United Methodist Chapel. We then rode the Tech Trolley back to Callanwolde, where guests were already enjoying cocktails on the terrace and lawn games like bocce ball, cornhole and ring toss. I could hardly get them inside for dinner! But Zest's delicious buffet stations and Faith Flowers' gorgeous decor in shades of blue, silver and white finally enticed them. I must say, this was one of those rare weddings where most of the guests stayed until the very end. I'm not sure what they enjoyed most: the band, the photo booth or the multiple desserts, including two kinds of cake, pies, and homemade cookies and cupcakes for favors.
My Favorite Detail
Chris loved Rice Krispie treats growing up, so his mother made him a Rice Krispie treat cake for his groom's cake! This was not just your normal one-layer groom's cake - this was a three-tier confection that was almost the same size as the wedding cake.
My Favorite Moment
Sandy's gown had a feature I've not seen before: the bottom unzipped to leave her with a short lace sheath dress. She worked this feature into the garter toss as a surprise - as Chris removed her Georgia Tech garter, he also unzipped the dress, and tossed it to one of the waiting single guys! He proceeded to put it on and dance around, to the delight of the guests.

Comments From The Couple
"My husband and I were so blessed to have what I called "the A Team" of vendors during the planning process and on our wedding day, and without a doubt, hiring Daria and Circle of Love Weddings was one of the best choices we made. Daria not only helped us choose the rest of our "A Team" but made sure everyone was on the same page, organized, informed, and ready to go. I knew Daria was on top of it when my hair stylist even commented "wow, she sent me a three page itinerary!" and showed up 30 minutes early because she knew how on top of it Daria was!
Our pastor commented that he had never seen a more organized planner, our family friends were impressed with her organization, ability to deal with anything that came her way, and 100% constant positivity. On top of it all, Daria was the most responsive person I worked with during the entire wedding process - big plus!
I can honestly say my husband and I had a *perfect* wedding, I know we owe it to Daria!" ~ Sandy (bride)
