We had the greatest wedding planner in Atlanta!

About The Wedding
Paige and her mom Susan were so wonderful to work with! As the only child of two doting parents, Paige was bound to have the wedding of her dreams, and we all worked together to make that happen. Decor was extremely important from the start, and the Savage Garden immediately "got" Paige's vision of an opulent gold and blush Gatsby-style event. As this was the fourteenth (!) wedding of the year for Paige and Robert's social group, they wanted to be sure it stood out. The Botanical Garden's natural fall beauty was enhanced with a stunning arbor dripping with flowers. Paige and Robert (who was actually a bit nervous, he told me!) glowed throughout the ceremony, which included a handfasting and a reading from The Velveteen Rabbit, Paige's favorite childhood book. Paper goods were extremely important to Paige as well, and Paper Daisies did a beautiful job of creating a suite of coordinating items, from the save-the-dates to the invitations to the programs, escort cards and placecards, and wedding signs. After cocktails in the Parterre Garden, guests were invited into a spectacular Day Hall for a delicious meal from Dennis Dean Catering. They couldn't wait to hit the dance floor as the Showstoppers cranked up the music. For favors, Paige's mom had ordered bags of popcorn, which were presented in suitcases. As the night wound down, Paige and Robert departed to their Italian honeymoon in a vintage Rolls Royce.

My Favorite Detail
The Savage Garden created a fabulous curtained backdrop for the stage, with dozens of handmade paper flowers hanging from the gathered drapes. It really enhanced the stage and created a very different look in the room.

My Favorite Moment
During the bouquet toss, Paige jumped up on the stage and sang along to "All The Single Ladies" - for the entire song! She tossed her bouquet from the stage, and one of her maids of honor caught it. She then jumped up on stage too, and the two friends danced together before joining the rest of their friends on the dance floor again.
