About The Wedding
Kristin is a very busy professional who travels 4 days a week, pretty much every week. She gave herself plenty of time to plan the wedding and create the DIY details she had in mind. As these things tend to go, she slowly gave over a lot of the decor work to our florist, who did a beautiful job creating the candlelit winter theme Kristin envisioned. Summerour glowed on this winter night (although the weather was a balmy 55 - a nice change from the recent snow and ice that preceded and followed the wedding weekend!). Jeff's friend officiated the ceremony, which Kristin and Jeff wrote themselves. Afterwards, it was still nice enough for some guests to enjoy Summerour's beautiful courtyard during the cocktail hour. Guests then enjoyed a served salad during the wedding party introductions, and then fell on Endive's taco and Mediterranean stations with great gusto, to fuel themselves for the "Dance Party ATL" (as Kristin was calling it) that followed. As the night wound down, Kristin and Jeff departed on the Tech Trolley as guests tossed a fragrant mix of rosemary and mint.
My Favorite Detail
Kristin hand-wrote and hand-drew all of the paper goods. The motif tying everything together was a drawing of the Atlanta skyline. She wrote out the invitation and our stationer scanned it in to make a digital file. Same with the program (a double sided trifold design) - it even included stick figures of each member of the wedding party! The escort cards had the skyline printed on them, and each guest's name was written by hand. The overall effect was totally personalized and so fun!
My Favorite Moment
So we've all seen the famous (or infamous) fraternity and sorority serenades. Jeff's group did something extra special: not only did they sing "My Girl" to Kristin, but they also had a choreographed dance routine to go along with it! Picture 20 guys dancing and singing to the bride - it was just as funny (and wonderful) as it sounds!

Comments From The Couple
"I wanted to thank you so much for everything you've done so far. We were all saying as you headed out today [from our planning meeting] how much of a blessing you've been. You know how skeptical (read: ambitious/stupid) I was in the beginning, and honestly I have no idea how any of this would have worked without you. I truly appreciate your professionalism and attention to detail. You've already exceeded my highest expectations!" ~ Kristin (bride)
