About The Wedding
Melissa and Anthony moved to Atlanta from Florida a year out from their wedding to start new jobs. As a former meeting planner in Miami, Melissa knew exactly what she wanted, she just needed some vendor recommendations and help pulling al the details together. The Piedmont Ballroom at the Georgian Terrace looked lovely with her simple black, white and gold color scheme. The day began with lots of photos around the beautiful hotel. Melissa and Anthony then signed their unique canvas ketubah, as guests began arriving for the ceremony, which took place under a simple fabric-draped huppah. A seated dinner in the transformed ballroom followed the cocktail hour. Melissa's vision was simple yet elegant, and the candlelight and white hydrangeas fit perfectly. Since everyone had traveled from out of town, it was important to Melissa and Anthony to get group photos with each table. Once that was done, the dance floor opened (with the Hora, of course), and the guests had a fabulous time dancing to Anthony's favorite techno music. Melissa and Anthony departed as guests lit sparklers, and then had one last photo session - on the roof with the lights of their new city in the background.

My Favorite Detail
Anthony is not at all sappy (at least he didn't show it with me). But the song he chose for the mother/son dance (93 Million Miles by Jason Mraz, which I have never heard before) was super sweet! It's a beautiful song about no matter how far you travel, you can always come back home. Very appropriate for a couple who is starting fresh in a new city, far from their families.

My Favorite Moment
When I walked into the bridal suite at the beginning of the day, and not only was hair and makeup done early, the bridesmaids had also cleaned up the suite and were ready to get dressed! It's so great to start the wedding day nice and relaxed, and not rushing around.

Comments From The Couple
"Daria was wonderful to work with! She recommended all of our vendors and was always available to answer my questions quickly. She is always one step ahead with planning and knows exactly how to handle any situation or problem as they come up. She is very organized so she was on top of me being organized down to every last detail, providing helpful schedules and spreadsheets. Her knowledge of my venue along with her longstanding relationship with staff allowed us to focus on enjoying our special day!" ~ Melissa (bride)
