About The Wedding
As a lawyer, Audrey likes to plan ahead. She hired me 15 months before the wedding, so she had a lot of time to enjoy the planning and we had plenty of time to iron out all the details. The wedding morning began with the ladies descending on the salon, where Audrey's long-time hairdresser took care of making everyone extra beautiful. They then boarded the bus for the church, where Audrey dressed and then had First Look photos with Walter. Audrey had her memory table at the church rather than the reception, and a sad highlight was a photo of her late sister along with a bouquet (to represent that she would have been a bridesmaid). The ceremony was traditional and lovely, with some of the family's favorite hymns and Christmas carols used as prelude and processional music. Audrey had specifically timed the whole evening so guests could enjoy the sunset from the 49th floor Commerce Club, which worked out beautifully. Everyone mingled, enjoyed the view, and signed the signature frame guest book. One of the best things about the Commerce Club is that one will never go hungry there! There were plenty of appetizers for guests to enjoy with the cocktail hour bourbon bar, and then station after station of delicious dinner food. Dessert was cake lovingly baked by the groom's aunt (including a surprise golf-theme groom's cake and a gluten-free cutting cake for the bride). The room was gorgeously decorated as a white winter wonderland - white flowers, linens and chair covers made it feel as though it had recently snowed. Bogey and the Viceroy were an absolute hit, and kept the dance floor packed all night. Guests braved the winter wind in the valet area downstairs to send the couple off with sparklers.

My Favorite Detail
For favors, Audrey offered handmade recipe books with some family recipes from both sides. Cute, unique and useful - my favorite kind of favor!

My Favorite Moment
For the last dance, the band played what I have to say is one of the best last dance songs I've ever heard: Purple Rain. The energy in the room was amazing!

Comments From The Couple
"Thanks again for helping make everything go so smoothly on our wedding day. It really went perfectly and for that we cannot thank you enough!" ~ Audrey and Walter (bride and groom)

Comments From The Family
"Everything went so well on the wedding day and I think that you were the primary reason! You really thought of everything - down to the last detail. We all enjoyed working with you and I'll certainly pass your name along. I don't have any idea how we could have done it without you. Thank you so much!" ~ Val (MOB)
