About The Wedding
As many Callanwolde couples do, Eileen and Scott wanted to feel as though they were welcoming guests to an intimate dinner party in a private home. The day began with Eileen and her friends getting ready in the venue's beautiful upstairs rooms. After a brief photo session, Eileen and Scott prepared to greet their guests as they arrived for cocktail hour. A cozy fire, lounge furniture, a pianist and bowls of wassail (Scott's family's specialty) welcomed guests to the Winter Living Room. After mingling, we invited everyone into the Great Hall for the ceremony. Then, everyone proceeded to the ballroom for a family-style dinner at a grand U-shaped estate table, elegantly arrayed in winter white florals and linen. With an informal cake cutting ceremony, mini desserts and plenty of dancing, the wedding had just the relaxed feel that suited Eileen and Scott's laid-back personalities perfectly.

My Favorite Detail
Eileen and Scott love coffee, so they gave out mini jars of chocolate-covered espresso beans as favors.

My Favorite Moment
One of Eileen's visions from the very start of the planning was to have a group photo at the end of the evening with all the guests waving their sparklers on the front terrace of Callanwolde. She got her wish, and it was such a fun sendoff!
