About the Wedding
Emily and Charlie both live in Washington, DC and chose to have their wedding in Atlanta because his parents live here and it was a central location for all their out-of-town guests. They ended up very glad they chose Atlanta, since DC was experiencing “Snowmageddon” the week before the wedding. Compared to that, our little snowstorm that weekend was a walk in the park. Being casual, laid-back people, Emily and Charlie wanted a relaxed, non-traditional format for their wedding: first they mingled with their guests at the cocktail hour, then everyone gathered at the front of the room for the wedding ceremony, and then the party continued with a buffet dinner and dancing. Since the environment and conservation is very important to Emily, she chose a florist who is well-versed in sustainability. The potted plant centerpieces became gifts for the guests at the end of the evening.

Comments From The Couple
I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciated everything that you did to make our wedding wonderful! I really cannot thank you enough. Charlie and I were both so happy with the way everything went. We both got to enjoy the day, and we loved getting to relax and savor the company of all of our friends and family in one place. You did an incredible job at making the event flow seamlessly. I got your note in the mail, and I will return the questionnaire in the next week or so, but I didn't want to wait another day before telling you how appreciative we are! ~ Emily (bride)
