Planning a Seated Dinner?

Planning a seated dinner for your wedding? A seated dinner can be quite lovely when done right! Keep it classy with these few tips:

  • Place cards are extremely helpful for seated dinners. Put one at each place indicating the guest’s meal of choice
  • Keep in mind that more time is needed to serve dinner (especially multiple courses)
  • Depending on the caterer’s experience, there may be under or overcooked food. The kitchen may only offer a few dishes, limiting your dinner options. To avoid this, make sure that the caterer or venue is well versed in preparing the food you are requesting, and that the servers are used to working at seated dinners.
