Yes, I am an ordained minister, and I can legally perform a wedding in all 50 states. I was trained and ordained at One Spirit Interfaith Seminary in New York City. Contact me about other countries or with specific questions about legality in your state or county (some places have unique requirements).

I am a highly spiritual person who sees Divine Love in all things and I honor all religions as love-centered traditions, although I don’t specifically call myself religious.

I work with all couples wherever they are on the religious/spiritual spectrum; which of course includes those who do not subscribe to a specific religion (or those who are agnostic, or secular, or atheist, or humanist… the list goes on). This can be a complicated question, and we’ll definitely address it as we are writing your ceremony.

Beyond the legalities, I only have two requirements: that the two of you are in love, and that you are willing to share that love with each other through your vows and your hearts during your ceremony.

Since this is such a personal decision, I do not require counseling, although I do encourage couples to consider its many benefits. I am happy to provide referrals if you decide that counseling is for you.

The short answer: as soon as you can! Many couples book their officiant between two and three months out, which is typically fine. In order to guarantee availability during wedding season, you may want to consider booking an officiant even earlier. 

If your wedding is sooner than two months away, don’t worry! I’ve officiated weddings as soon as the day after I was booked!

I have planned, coordinated and officiated at hundreds of weddings, which has given me a wealth of knowledge to be able to guide you through exactly what goes into your personalized wedding ceremony. There are lots of options and it’s easy to become overwhelmed. With me by your side, you do not have to research or try to figure it out on your own. It’s part of my work to guide you through the process, and to make it fun!

Absolutely. I will help you figure out the processional and recessional order, how we’re going to stand, how all the moving parts will work, and even help you choose music.

It is my honor to officiate funerals, baby blessings, pet blessings and memorials, new home blessings, and rituals and ceremonies for any time of transition. Let’s talk!

Although I also work as a wedding planner, I’ve found it’s best to “stay in my lane” when I am the officiant (except in the case of tiny weddings and elopements). 

With that said, I do believe it’s very important to have a point person on the wedding day, who will answer questions and problem-solve on the wedding day so you don’t have to! 

I will attend the rehearsal and will work with your wedding coordinator or venue director to make sure rehearsal goes smoothly. No coordinator? No problem – I am able to run the entire rehearsal for us, including practicing the processional and recessional. 

For the wedding day, I do recommend assigning a point person to line us up and send us down the aisle (although this may not be necessary in the case of very small weddings). We will discuss your specific situation as we plan the ceremony logistics, and figure it out!

This is a great question! The main thing I like for my clients to know about me is that customer service and flexibility are hallmarks of my business. Making sure my clients have the information they need in a timely manner is very important and, in turn, the ceremony creation process tends to go smoothly when decisions are made in a timely manner as well.

Flexibility means that this is your ceremony, and I am here to help you make sure it goes the way that you want it to go. You tell me your ideas, and together we will figure out how to make them into reality – and you are always the final decision-maker.
