Often times, you are asked to multiple showers for the same couple. Should you bring a gift to all of them? YES. You don’t have to give super expensive gifts each time, but it is the nice and polite gesture to show a bit of love towards the couple with a gift.
Now how about wedding gifts? It’s best to SEND the wedding gift ahead of time! It saves the bride and groom and everyone having to clean up after the wedding a lot of trouble! Please do not bring it to the wedding! It’s also perfectly fine to SEND a gift after the wedding. Gifts are expected here, and it is rude not to give one.
Engagement party gifts? Not necessary. Hold off until the wedding!
Did you receive a wedding announcement after the wedding? You are not obligated to send a gift! Just extend your congratulations to the happy couple.
