Sparkles, Pink…and Car Parts! Ainsley and Erik’s Wedding Story

The wedding story of Ainsley and Erik, who were married June 9, 2012, at the Ritz-Carlton Downtown Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia. Think hot pink and sparkles, a glowing white huppah… and car parts! Intrigued? Take a look!

“Daria is, for lack of a better word, incredible. Her attention to detail is unparalleled, her professionalism is outstanding, her personality and sense of humor are warm and wonderful, and the way she works through the planning process is truly refreshing. On the day of, Daria is priceless. She takes the stress out of the wedding and allows you to simply enjoy you and your new husband’s special day, the way you should. All those things you think you’ll need to do, bring, or remember on the day of? Forget it – Daria’s got you covered. And all those things that you DIDN’T think to do, bring or remember? Well, Daria’s got you covered there, too. She’s like a little wedding fairy godmother, here to bring sanity and peace back to your happy day. :)” ~ Ainsley (bride)

Ainsley and Erik met when Erik sold Ainsley some car parts, and they share a love of many outdoor hobbies, as well as car racing. So of course their wedding incorporated many personalized details relating to these hobbies – along with Ainsley’s color scheme of pink with lots of sparkles! The tables were all named after famous racetracks, and featured the outlines of each track. The cake topper was a recreation of Ainsley and Erik striking the pose from the Mr. and Mrs. Smith movie poster!

After a beautiful ceremony beneath that glowing white huppah which incorporated elements from Erik’s Jewish heritage, guests enjoyed a lovely seated dinner, danced to DJ Jimmy’s sounds, and could not get enough of the photo booth (with fun props, of course!).

My Favorite Detail

This is hard to say, because there were so many thematic touches, which of course I love. By far the most unique was the turbo charger (yes, an actual car part) that was the centerpiece of the escort card table. I have never seen that before, and I doubt I will again!

My Favorite Moment

As we were bringing Ainsley downstairs at the Ritz for her First Look photos with Erik, a little girl in the lobby caught sight of the bride. Her eyes got wide, her mouth dropped open, and she just said, “Wow! She looks like a princess!” I’m sure she’ll remember that moment when she herself gets married. How cute is that!

Congratulations, Ainsley and Erik, and thank you for being a Circle of Love Weddings couple! Wishing you a lifetime of love and sparkles!
