A Holiday Reflection

Here we are again, all of a sudden, at one of my favorite weekends of the year: Thanksgiving. There are so many reasons I love it – the wonderful meal, relaxed time with family before the Christmas rush really begins, time to start decorating my house for Christmas and listening to Christmas music.

But it’s more than that. Since I don’t typically take any weddings this weekend, I get a chance to wrap up from the busy fall season and reflect on all of my wonderful clients from the year, and upcoming for the next year. It’s the start of “engagement season,” with many couples newly engaged and starting to plan their weddings and new lives together. I think it’s quite fitting that in this season of beauty, peace and hopefulness, so many couples make the decision to get married. I plan on truly enjoying every moment of the holidays this year, to renew and refresh for the upcoming new year.

Blessings of the season to all!
