I’ve always loved that time of year when the season is just starting to change. Spring is exciting, but that first taste of fall is my favorite. The air is just a little crisp in the morning, but the days are still warm. The light is lower and softer, and the sky is so brilliantly blue. The mums are just starting to bud and it’s almost time to plant pansies. I start to anticipate the pumpkin stands and our annual pumpkin carving party.
And of course, it’s one of the best times of the year for a wedding in Atlanta.
This is one of my favorite photos – I love the brilliant leaves and the way the light glows through the trees. This wedding took place in Piedmont Park, and the photo was taken by Alea Moore.
Here’s to another beautiful fall season! Enjoy!
